<P>The teak furniture in this collection is lightly stained to give it a honey colour. To preserve the original colour of your furniture, lightly sand it with fine sandpaper. You can also apply teak oil at the beginning of the season to protect it and preserve its honey colour.
Teak is a precious, rot-proof wood that is widely used in the manufacture of garden furniture because it is extremely resistant to the harshest and most constant climatic conditions (humidity).</P>
<P><B>Plantations</B><BR>
The wood used in the manufacture of our garden furniture comes exclusively from replanted forests on the island of Java. These forests are managed by the state organisation Perum Perhutani, which determines a seasonality and a cutting quota to ensure the sustainability of the resource. </P>
<P><B>Maintenance</B><BR>
Teak furniture can be left outdoors without any special treatment. After a few months or even years, the wood will take on a greyish hue.
To preserve the original colour of your furniture or to remove a stain, lightly sand it with fine sandpaper. You can also apply teak oil at the beginning of the season to protect it and give it a honey colour.
<P><B>It is strongly recommended that you store this furniture indoors and protect it from frost during the winter months to prevent damage. </B> </P>
